MORE ON SELLER

ROGER CHANDLER

In 1952, Adrian Pearsall and his brother founded a furniture business in Wilkes-Barre, PA called Crafts Associates.  Pearsall designed the furniture and incorporated in his pieces many elements that have become synonymous with classic American, mid century modern design.  His use of geometric shapes and lines and natural materials out of which his pieces were created, all helped to define his "look".  But it was his ability to bring innovative design to the masses with the proof that beauty and style need not be sacrificed for function, that perhaps bears witness most to his enduring legacy.

Every piece of authentic Adrian Pearsall furniture you see in this website is for sale.  The furniture was purchased by me in various conditions and will be sold the way it was found.  I have set prices generally below or at the average retail price.  These have been determined based on each piece's condition, rarity, and general market value, which, we all know, fluctuates based on consumer demand.  In some cases my prices are negotiable but not always and as is the norm for most collectible products, will be sold at a price agreed upon by myself and you, the buyer. There are also specification sheets for each piece which explain relevant information unique to that piece.  I hope you find this collection as exciting as I do.

I grew up in the 1960s and 70s and remember mid century modern style, but never pursued it until many years later when I began to get nostalgic for things past.  I discovered Pearsall about eight years ago through a dealer who directed me towards him who thought I might like his designs.  Well, I did.  In fact, it became a mission of mine to collect whatever I could find of his, own it and learn about it from hands on experience.  Now after having accumulated a large collection, I'm interested in bringing my collection to other people who can enjoy it and appreciate its historical value.

Three Shipping Options

1.  Choose your own shipping company. Here are a           few options I have used in the past.

        a)  Plycon: plycongroup.com  They will                                 blanket wrap and ship door to door.  I have                     used them many times and recommend them.

        b) U-Shipuship.com

        c) Greyhound: shipgreyhound.com.  Especially                  good for smaller items under $1000.  In this                    case, Roger would prepare the item for                            shipping which you would receive an estimate.

2.  You can make arrangements with me to have the furniture delivered in person which entails a separate estimate to be paid prior to delivery.
